Atrax Commerce (AXCO) Procurement Model
Atrax Commerce (AXCO) is a sister company of Atrax Logistics, established to provide procurement and trading solutions with the same high standards of transparency and compliance. AXCO is registered with SARS as both an Importer of Record (IOR) and Exporter of Record (EOR), holding valid customs importer and exporter codes and a VAT registration number. In addition, AXCO has South African Reserve Bank (SARB) approvals in place for both procurement activities and the management of inward and outward international payments, ensuring full compliance in all financial transactions.
Through this licensing and approvals, AXCO offers a complete procurement and export solution for customers both locally and internationally:
- Local Procurement with VAT Recovery – AXCO can purchase stock from South African suppliers and legally claim back the VAT.
- Export as EOR – Once product is procured, AXCO can act as the exporter of record, ensuring no VAT is levied on the export, saving the consignee from paying 15% VAT.
- EX Works Simplification – AXCO allows shipments to be moved on EXW terms, facilitating full export clearance and freight to destination, ensuring one point of contact manages the entire process.
- Cargo Insurance – Marine insurance can be arranged through AXCO, providing peace of mind during international transport.
- Full Administration, Banking & Payments – AXCO manages all administration, reconciliations, and international payments (via SARB approvals). Stock is checked on arrival with a complete goods receipt voucher (GRV), including pictures, before dispatch.
- Warranties & Claims – AXCO maintains warranties and manages claims directly with suppliers through formal legal agreements, removing risk for the buyer.
